In the morning, after breakfast with your guide take a scenic ride to Pokhara on a tourist bus. After arriving at Pokhara, transfer to a hotel and take a rest. In the evening, wander the nearby streets or lakeside. Overnight in Pokhara.
In the morning, after breakfast with your guide drive to Vijayapur. From there, the trek begins walking through the paddy fields and traversing a river. Then, ascend on a trail toward Kalikasthan. Arrive at Kalikasthan and take a rest for a while. Then, explore the nearby places. Overnight stay.
Walk through the vast rhododendron forest and traverse several villages admiring the stunning views of Mt. Annapurna, Himchuli, Fishtail, and Lamjung. Arrive at Syaklung for an overnight stay.
Walk through the beautiful Gurung villages and get some sights of their lifestyle and culture. The trail is abundant with rhododendron and Sal trees and walks on a few descends and ascends is exciting. Upon reaching Chisapani, the first glimpse of Mt. Dhaulagiri is wonderful. The panoramic views of Dhaulagiri to Annapurna West are fabulous. Overnight stay.
After breakfast, descend halfway and ascend To Sundare Danda near Rupa Tal. Then, continue further and reach the ridge that divides Rupa Tal and Begnas Tal. Descend to Begnas Tal and enjoy boating for an hour. After that, drive to Pokhara. Later, enjoy some shopping in the streets of Pokhara. Overnight stay.
The trek comes to an end. After breakfast, return to Kathmandu with a guide enjoying a scenic ride. Overnight in a hotel. There is also an option of taking a flight paying an additional charge.
Accommodation and Duration
Accommodations in the Royal Trek are mostly locally owned teahouses or hotels. The locally operated teahouses are basic but with comfortable facilities. The hotels are accommodated with all sorts of comfortable facilities such as internet, attached bathrooms, laundry, electricity, TV, and varieties of meals. The hotel charges are high compared to teahouses as it includes all sorts of facilities. The Royal Trek duration is of 6 days.
Meals
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner during the Royal Trek are provided from the respective teahouses/hotels one stays at. All types of international cuisine are easily available in the hotel. The main dish is Nepali Dal Bhat with vegetable curry and a pickle. The meals are healthy and hygienic.
Drinking water
Drinking water is easily accessible. One can buy mineral water bottles or fill a water bottle at a teahouse/hotel. To be safe, use water purification treatment on your own or pay an extra charge to fill up boiled water at a teahouse.
Communication
The communication facility is stable in the Royal Trek. The phone networks and internet facilities are good. One can buy a local sim and use a data pack for the internet. Else, pay some additional charge at a teahouse to use the Wi-Fi facility.
