3 Night /4 Days Lhasa Tour (Fly in/ Fly out)
Day 01(Sat): Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa
Transfer to the airport for the flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa on Air China. This one-hour Trans Himalayan flight will allow you to have an aerial view of Mt. Everest and other Himalayan peaks (if weather permits) Arrival at Ganggor airport around 13.30 hrs local time. After clearing immigration and customs it will be a two-hour drive to cover the 93 km. to reach Lhasa which is situated at an altitude of 3650 m. Upon arrival, we check-in at the hotel.
Day 02(Sun): Lhasa Sightseeing
We start our sightseeing with a visit to one of Tibet's most important and biggest monasteries, Drepung which is beautifully located on a mountain slope 12 km outside Lhasa. After returning to the city for lunch, we will go to Norbulingka, the former summer palace of the Dalai Lama. Surrounded by a lush green garden, it is a favorite place for Tibetan people to celebrate their festivals. In the afternoon, we visit the Jokhang temple, the most sacred and oldest temple in Tibet. Then we walk around Barkhor Street which is the most popular place for Tibetan pilgrims. It is also a famous bazaar for Tibetan handicrafts and antiques.
Day 03(Mon): Lhasa Sightseeing
In the morning we visit the Potala Palace, one of the wonders in the world and one of the marvels of Tibet. This huge structure is the former residence of the Dalai Lama and a sight you will not forget. In the afternoon we visit Sera Monastery, 5 Km outside Lhasa where we can watch the monks debating. They do this in a very special way by making all kinds of gestures with their hands and arms.
Day 04(Tue): Fly Lhasa to Kathmandu
Already the end of our tour and we have to get up early for our transfer to Gonggar airport to catch the flight back to Kathmandu or continue our onward journey via mainland China. We arrive around 9 0' clock in the morning because of the 2 hrs and 15 minutes time difference with Tibet. Of course, we enjoy the spectacular views again while we fly over the Himalayan range.

On this day you will stay free to relax or explore the small alleys in the old Tibetan part of Lhasa city.

7 Night / 8 Days Lhasa Tour (Fly In & Fly Out)
Day 01: (Sat) Kathmandu-Lhasa
Fly to Lhasa crossing over the highest Himalayan ranges of the world. Transfer to hotel, a full day rest for acclimatization.
Day 02-03: (Sun-Mon) In Lhasa
Two full-day sightseeing tours to Lhasa including Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar, Potala Palace, Drepung & Sera Monasteries.
Day 04: (Tues) Lhasa –Shigatse
Scenic drive to Shigatse, the west of Lhasa via Yamdrok Lake crossing over the 4,800 m. Kambala Pass & 5010m. Karola pass. overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: (Wed) Shigatse –Gyantse
Morning sightseeing to the Panchen Lama’s Tashilhumpu Monastery. Drive to Gyantse and visit the Kumbum Stupa & Phalkor Monasteries, overnight in the hotel.
Day 06-07: (Thu-Fri) Gyantse-Tsedang
Full day drive to Tsedang & overnight at hotel. Next day sightseeing tour to Samye monastery, Yumbu Lhakhang & Tombs of Tibetan Kings, etc, overnight at a hotel.
Day 08: (Sat) Tsedang-Kathmandu
Early morning drive to Gonggar airport for the departure flight back to Kathmandu.
