After Chitwan, our next visit according to this package is Pokhara which can be reached by about 3 hrs drive from Chitwan. Pokhara, also known as the city of lakes, is so beautiful that it resembles heaven. Being one of the major attractions of tourists traveling to Nepal, Pokhara is a pride of Nepal. You get to explore various natural and cultural sites of Pokhara: Phewa Lake, Davis Fall, Bat Cave (Chamero Gufa), White Stupa, Tibetan refugee camp (Hyanja), etc. After admiring the beauty of Pokhara, a day hike to Sarangkot awaits us. We begin this hike by reaching Naudanda in about 1hr drive. We catch the breathtaking sunset view from the viewpoint of Sarangkot and the sunrise view the next morning. The views of sunrise and sunset from the Sarangkot viewpoint are awe-inspiring and heart-melting. We return to Pokhara and finally back to Kathmandu.
