Overview
This is one of our best trip packages combining three exhilarating programs: Kathmandu sightseeing tour, trekking from Chisapani to Nagarkot and jungle safari in Chitwan National Park. This trip package is simply amazing and offers you a lot. This trip gives you an opportunity to visit all seven monuments of Kathmandu valley that are responsible for UNESCO’s designation of Kathmandu valley as cultural heritage site. These seven monuments include- Pashupatinath Temple, Changu Narayan Temple, Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square.
After sightseeing of Kathmandu valley, our next program is the trek to reach Nagarkot which we begin from Sundarijal. Sundarijal is a popular picnic spot and it can be reached by 45 min drive from Kathmandu. It takes us about 6 hrs of hike to reach Chisapani from Sundarijal. The hiking trail is through the forest adorned with rhododendron and pine trees. From Chisapani, we can enjoy breathtaking views of snowcapped peaks including Ganesh Himal, Shisapangma Hamal, Dorje Lakpa and several others. From Chisopani, we ascend towards Nagarkot and it takes us about 5 hours to reach there. Chisapani Nagarkot hiking is a trip to Shivapuri National Park and it is through lush forest and charming village of local people. Nagarkot is a beautiful place away from crowds and commercialization. The scintillating scenery including awe-inspiring views of Himalayas from the hill station at Nagarkot is something to die for. Mt. Everest, the highest mountain of the world can also be witnessed from there. You will be fascinated and mesmerized by early sunrise views at Nagarkot.
The last but not the least program included in this trip package is Chitwan Jungle Safari. Chitwan can be reached by about 6 hrs drive from Nagarkot. There are various activities to explore Chitwan National Park, the first national park of Nepal and also listed in UNESCO’s world heritage site. Exciting wildlife activities like Elephant back safari, jungle walking, elephant bath, canoeing tour, etc are included in our package. This trip package lets you enjoy your life and have lifetime memories.
Short Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel (3 stars categorized)
Day 02: Full day sightseeing Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Changu Narayan Temple
Day 03: Full day sightseeing Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Darbar Square, Swyambhunath Stupa (temple), Asan-Indrachwok local market
Day 04: Drive to Sundarijal (45 minutes) and walk to Chisapani, overnight at a guest house. Walking from Sundarijal to Chisapani takes about 6 hours. Walking trail is not difficult as it's gradually ascending. You will be walking mostly through the forest of rhododendron and pine trees. You might see different species of monkeys and wild pigs during the walk. From Chisapani you will see Ganesh Himal, Shishapangma Himal, Dorje Lakpa and many other white peaks. Waking up early in the morning is suggested to explore the sunrise view. Himal is a mountain in the Nepalese language.
Day 05: Chisapani to Nagarkot, overnight at guest house Trekking from Chisapani to Nagarkot takes about 5 hours. Walking is even easier than yesterday. At the end of the day you have to ascend about 45 minutes but it's not difficult. When you are in Nagarkot you will forget Chisapani for a while as Nagarkot is really a nice place. This place is very famous for Mountain View and honeymoon stay. It means the place is so beautiful.
Day 06: Your guide will wake you up early in the morning to get a sunrise view. The scenery you will see from here is better than what you saw from Chisapanii. After having breakfast at the hotel, drive to Chitwan National Park by private transport. As it takes about 6 hours to reach Chitwan we will provide a buffet lunch and some wildlife activities, overnight at the guest house.
Day 07: Full-day wildlife activities Jungle walking, elephant back safari, canoeing tour, elephant bath, and so on, overnight at the guest house.
Day 08: Departure from Chitwan. We will offer you rafting in the Trisuli River on the way to Kathmandu. Rafting starts from Fisling and ends at Kurintar (about 3 hours rafting). You will arrive in Kathmandu in the late evening, overnight at the hotel.
Day 09: Transfer to the airport for your onward destination
