Singla Pass is at an altitude of 4050m from where the astonishing view of Ganesh Himal can be seen as very impressive. Trekking on this trail is an adventure on a fresh route in the non-touristy area. Experiencing a wide variety of rare wildlife and birds including endangered and rare animals such as Snow Leopard, Red Panda, Himali Thar, Wild Yak, Musk Deer, Wild Boar and more than 300 species of birds can be observed while following Langtang National Park. Ganesh Himal Singla Pass Trek mostly covers Gorkha and reaches the border of Tibet in the North. Trekking also offers untouched Tamang culture for Tibetan descendants. Upon your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu and completion of the customs formality, you shall be received by our representative. In the morning, along with a guide take a scenic bus ride to Balche from Kathmandu. There is an option of a private jeep ride for those wishing personal and comfortable ride. Halfway of the ride is smooth and the other halfway ride expect to be bumpy on rugged roads. The road trails are narrow and zigzag but the surrounding vistas of landscapes and mountains complement the ride. Overnight in Balche.
The trek begins to Rupchet after breakfast. Walk on an ascending trail passing through the dense forest. Have lunch at Thulo Kharka and continue to trek adoring the surrounding views. Arrive at Rupchet for an overnight stay.
The day to pass the highest altitude of this trek i.e. Singla Pass at an elevation of 4050m. Slowly ascend to the Singla Pass from where you witness the wonderful views of the Ganesh and Langtang Himal ranges, some parts of Annapurna, and Shiringi Himal. From there, slowly descend and walk through the forested trail passing various settlements. Reach Chalish Gaon and stay overnight.
The trek commences after breakfast. We reach Tatopani where we take bath at Tatopani. If you don’t want to it is fine. Then, we climb uphill to reach Neber Gaon which is a Tibetan native village. Get an awesome close-up view of Ganesh Himal from here. Overnight in Neber Gaon.
The trek starts with an ascending walk to Timla Pass enjoying the mountain views and surrounding landscapes. Then, descend to arrive at the beautiful Gurung village Lapa Gaon. Overnight in Lapa Gaon.
Walk downhill and pass Chyamchat village following the Ankur Khola view. Then, pass several settlements viewing lovely terraced fields, and walk through a jungle trail. Finally, arrive at Ri Gaon for an overnight stay.
An easy trek begins and we pass several villages, and terraced fields enjoying the views. Arrive at Phul Kharka. Interact with the locals and spend the day exploring the nearby places. Overnight in Phul Kharka.
Walk on the trail passing some beautiful villages and reach the bank of the Ringe river. Climb uphill leaving the river bank trail to our today’s destination Jyamrung Danda. From the danda, witness the splendid views of the Ganesh Himal ranges, Langtang Himal ranges, Manaslu Himal, and other peaks. In the evening, enjoy the sunset view over these snow-capped mountains. Overnight in Jyamrung Danda.
In the morning, we have breakfast before leaving for Kathmandu. Admiring the surrounding views, we trek to Dhading Besi via Todke danda. Have lunch or some light snacks and drive back to Kathmandu in a public vehicle. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Today we sightsee many historically and culturally important sites which are also listed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site along with a guide. We visit the holy Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath, the ancient Monkey Temple (Swayambhunath), and another Buddhist shrine of Boudhanath, one of the largest stupas in the world along with other possible sites. After sightseeing, explore the beautiful Thamel area. Do some souvenir shopping if you wish to. Back to the hotel and take a rest. Then, pack your bags and get ready for the final departure the next day. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Accommodation
During the Ganesh Himal Singla Pass trek, teahouses or guesthouses are the means of accommodation that are basic but comfortable. The room with an attached bathroom in the lower regions and room sharing at the peak seasons and in the higher regions. One must pay an extra charge for the use of Wi-Fi, charging electronic devices, hot water buckets, and laundry.
Meals
The 3-course full meals are served during the entire trek in the Ganesh Himal Singla Pass. The meals are simple but with good energy portions for the trekkers to trek. Nepali Dal-Bhat is a good energy source for trekkers. Besides this, noodles, soups, fresh green vegetables, hot tea, etc. are served. It is always a good idea to carry some light snacks and choco bars with you.
Drinking water
Drinking water in the Ganesh Himal Singla Pass trek is easily available. One can fill up the water at the teahouses paying an extra amount or purchase bottled water. It is convenient to carry a water bottle and water purifying kits for safety.

The internet connectivity and phone networks are stable in most parts of the lower regions whereas it is hard to find the networks in the higher region. For the use of Wi-Fi, pay an additional charge at the teahouses or purchase a local sim with a data pack. And for emergencies, there is a satellite phone facility.
Transport
The Ganesh Himal region is located just north of Kathmandu, and the best way to get there is to take a bus or private jeep from Kathmandu to Balche. The private jeep fare costs slightly higher than a local bus. If one wants a comfortable ride, opt for a jeep ride.

Best Time to trek
The best time to go on a trek in the Ganesh Himal Singla Pass trek is from September to November (Autumn season) and from March to May (Spring Season). During this time, the weather is dry and the skies are clear. The rainy season (June-July) is quite riskier as the trails are muddy and slippery. During the winter (December to February), this region gets very cold, and snow covers the higher parts of the trek. Many of the guesthouses close up for the winter and re-open in late February to March. However, it is possible to trek the Ganesh Himal Singla Pass on the fringe of the season in late February/early March and it can be quite beautiful with snow cover.

Ganesh Himal Singla Pass Trek Difficulty
The Ganesh Himal Singla Pass trek is moderately difficult. The trails are least developed, off-beat, and rough. There are several ascend and descend which makes it tougher for trekkers to trek. Besides this, high elevations, change in climate, and unavailability of all major facilities are other factors that make this trek difficult. But, with proper planning and assistance before the start of the trek, this trek is possible. We recommend you participate in exercises, day hikes, and physical training months before starting the trek. Also, take necessary health tests before trekking to high altitudes.
